Power sanding, finish sanding
Power sanders sometimes are a must for jobs with thick overspray. I personally use them often. However, these tools, while faster, are not for everyone or for every job. Because power sanders are orbital, they leave swirls that almost always show up after painting. For this reason, they should never be used on skim coat walls or ceilings, or on corner bead. But, for those really tough jobs, using a power sander on overspray in the field and the Radius 360 for the bead, flats and butt joints, can be an efficient combination for a high quality finished product.
